If I remember correctly, every book in Jan Karon's, The Mitford Series, explains the plan of salvation without being "preachy". Also, I agree with C.J. that Riven is one of the best!

Riven by Jerry B. Jenkins has a great redemption message. Also The Oath by Frank Peretti for those who are into a Stephen King-like story. I was talking to a friend a couple days ago who still gets shivers when she thinks about that book and how good it was. :) Depending on the person, Peretti's Darkness novels also have a powerful redemption message, but they could be a little heavy if someone isn't already searching.

We have a whole line of Christian fiction novels for both men and women including romance, historical, military/action and suspense. Three of ours were Christy award finalists last year. You can check out our website at pureenjoyment.com or tell your patrons to visit. They can read the first chapter and watch a video about the book. Maybe that will help them decide!
