I was wondering how many of you use the Atrium System?
Do you like it, is it easy to use, how much does it cost, is it a yearly subscription or a one time thing, and any other questions you can help me with.
Thanks!

We just had Atriuum installed and the training yesterday. It was a lot to take in one day. It was a 6 hour session. We go live tomorrow. I am concerned as only 6 people could be at the training (per Book Systems) and there will be a number of library workers that will have not been trained. We did have a short training session last Sunday night for everyone that could come. Our yearly subscription will be about $800. I believe. I don't remember the actual cost. I will let you know how it goes. I will be glad to help you in any way I can.
Sorry for the late reply.
Thank you both for taking the time to answer my question.
I'll check it out when I get a chance.
We've been using Atrium for six years now and we love it. Used Concourse before that from Book Systems too. As with any new system it takes some learning to get used to it but once it is mastered it is great. There is a yearly service fee and the cost depends on what all you get. The cost is not unreasonable. It is web based and you can do so much with that. The on-line OPAC is great for your patrons. I heartily recommend it.
