• READ/CONFERENCE: Read the following AND/OR participate in a conference on visual promotion.

• INTERVIEW/OBSERVE: Visit the following websites to observe craft bulletin board ideas:

      2.   Discover Education                                                                           

      3.  Danielle's Place

 

• INTERVIEW other library teams from the Church Library Network  about how they get ideas for visual promotion and what things have worked best for them. Look through all the CLN pictures of bulletin boards.

• DEVELOP a bulletin board or poster and a display around a specific theme of your choice. Use the principles of good design that are given in the online book Creating Promotion that Communicates by Charles Businaro.

• IMPLEMENT: Use as many of the visual promotion ideas for your specific theme. Unveil the poster/bulletin board and display. Take pictures.

• EVALUATE the feedback and effectiveness of the themed promotion. Share pictures with others to get their feedback on your poster and display. You are invited to post your pictures on the Church Librarians Network!
