Church libraries can make a tremendous difference by offering books of faith and virtue to shape young minds and encourage family discussion. Here are two recent children's books by a Virginia pastor, that do that very thing. Both are available at Amazon and other online booksellers. "The Calling Card of the King" is just out this month and is about a king who visits his subjects incognito. He helps them discover the power of forgiveness and love, and leaves behind a calling card that seems to transform lives. "Where Do Belly Buttons Come From?" is a delightful story that reminds us that we all are specially made and especially loved by God!
Fred, I thought you were still pres. or whatever they call it these days! Discovered the other day that you have rotated off! Jewel is back on! Well, she's a good one. She knows all the membership and gets along well. Give my love to your family and pray for my health that I will still be able to make that journey to R.C. in March and do my workshop, and they have requested Queen Esther at the first Gen. Assembly! I think Rita must have told them. She has me down to do storytelling for the grand opening of her new library! Mackie
