Hi there! Somehow I didn't catch on that we can "befriend" each other. I'm sorry to say, but I'm somewhat inconsistent on being here and checking my e-mail. I'll try to do better.  So please just know that my slow response has more to do with me and not you.

I hope your trip goes well.

Greetings, Maxine.  I am with FBC Madison library, doing mostly computer input.  Refresh my memory on where you are and how your library is doing.

Maxine, I cannot believe I haven't checked this page since August.  Derbyshire and Grove Ave. are really close to where I live and to Third Presby. Church, where I am the Children's Librarian.  My dear former neighbor, Maxine Hager, is a long-time member of Derbyshire.  You may know her.

I am so excited.  You come when you like.  We will be here taking care of last minute details and will get you set up.  Getting to Euless on a week day morning can be time consuming, so I pray the best for you as you make your trek.

Love you,

Maxine, go on First Baptist Church Euless.  When you get on that home page, click on resources then library.  Yes, we are on line.  We have invited any and all to the story time, but only those who participated to the pizza party.  We are all wanting a large crowd, but of course that is the end of summer and a lot of families are already telling us that is their last vacation time before school.  I was hoping they would have waited until Wednesday to go, but I know you go when you can.  Anyway, your friends are welcomed warmly.  Can't wait to see you and most especially LISTEN to you.  It has been a long time since I heard your stories.

Maxine, Maxine, Maxine!  We are so excited for you to be with us for our end of summer reading pizza party.  We begin at 10:30 as we discussed earlier and I have invited all who want to attend to come and be a part of this event.  However, we are only including the children who participated in the pizza party part.  So, we are ready for a fun time with Maxine and her great stories.      Rita

I am so pleased to have you come.  I will begin publicity right away.  First Baptist Church, 1000 West. Airport Freeway, Euless, Texas.  You will park in the Senior Parking Lot across from Trinity High School and enter thru those doors which will be open.  If you will give me an approximate time of arrival, I will have one of my people meet you and direct you to where we are.  We will begin 10:00 AM and have stories, food, games and reading awards.  So exciting!  Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday, August 9, 10:00 AM.

Ok, Dear Lady, I am set with a date.  Would it be possible for you to be our guest at the end of summer Reading Program on August 9, 10:00 AM?  This is our big pizza party and we have birth thru 6th grade.  Let me know what you think?

Maxine, Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to you too! You sound chipper. I'm glad to hear from you. I am doing fine. I still work in the church library but spend more of my time working with English as a Second Language at the church. Have a wonderful holiday and happy birthday too. Talk to you later. Edith

We will have ages from 3 thru 6th grade. We will be delighted for you to plan a program. We do want to do this for the children and if you have a theme idea, we can get materials and refreshments accordingly.

Precious Lady, are you available on some Saturday morning? Reason - We are getting ready to have a grand opening for our newly remodeled library and I wanted to have a special opening for the children's area and feature you as our story teller. I do not have the date for the opening as of right now as they are still working in there. I will just need to know that you are available and then we can check availability on a paticular date after that.

Love you,

Dear, Dear person,
Are you still telling stories? Let me know, because if you are I need you to come and do a storytime for me this summer.
