Written by a member of the Church Librarian Network, this new release  suggests that to reach the unchurched, we must change their mental image of Christians.  Most see church folks as judgmental, humorless, unchanging, irrelevant, and isolated.  Churches can change this picture by consistently being the encouraging, joyful, and compassionate people God has called us to be.

Jeffery Warren Scott holds a Ph.D. in Religion from Baylor University, has written extensively on the church and ministry, and has been a senior pastor for over three decades. The book is available on Amazon.com and other online retailers in ebook and softcover formats

It is difficult to attract Young Adults (ages 19 - 30).  Once kids reach 18 or 19 they can chose NOT to go to church with their parents.  Some go to the big city to work or get educated.  Churches mediocre towns have an excuse for having a doughnut hole (ages 19 - 30) in the their attendance.  Churches in the big city can only blame themselves, as they have an abundance of Young Adults (ages 19 - 30) to attract.
