Nancy, I don't have my copy of "Church Librarians  Ministry Information Service" with me at the moment--that's the shrink-wrapped one to go in a notebook--but there is in it a form for preparing church budgets.  I'm working on my budget too.

I love that you have videos on starting a library and other various videos.  I plan to watch them.  I am working on our church library here in Texas and can use all the help your site offers. :))

Hi Nanacy! Sorry it took me so long to reply. I usually check this blog at work, at Southeastern Seminary, and I've been out all summer with my kids. So now they're back at school and I'm back at work. Are you the same Nancy who e-mailed me last week about the model church library and getting some help with your restart? If so, I'm happy to see your picture on here because I remember you now from the Caswell conference. I told you I'm bad at names, but good at faces! Please, send me the details about your library - things like how big it is, about how many books, are you automated or do you want to be, etc. We can give advice, point you towards some great references, walk you through any questions you have, and show you some software we have, if you're interested. How far are you from Wake Forest?

Blogger Mania

Hi Folks

In a past note I talked about setting up and maintaining a church blog using Google's Blogger. My reasoninf for that was WordPress and I just couldn't get it together. Blogger seemed to be easier for me. Recently on the Blog I have discovered how to put a slideshow on it.  I am so excited about it. One thing it does is it runs continually independent from the rest of the blog activity. It has been a great tool to let folks know of church events and books that I have placed in…
