Church libraries can make a tremendous difference by offering books of faith and virtue to shape young minds and encourage family discussion. Here are two recent children's books by a Virginia pastor, that do that very thing. Both are available at Amazon and other online booksellers. "The Calling Card of the King" is just out this month and is about a king who visits his subjects incognito. He helps them discover the power of forgiveness and love, and leaves behind a calling card that seems to transform lives. "Where Do Belly Buttons Come From?" is a delightful story that reminds us that we all are specially made and especially loved by God!
Lyn, I don't know how I missed your message in February. Sorry about that. I've been away so much that I haven't checked as I should have. If you haven't found how to get in touch with the VA library folks, let me know and I'll try to get you in touch.
Flad that you're a member of this group. I think we can have some good discussions with other librarians.
