Robert Whitlow, Christian Author

Several months ago I discovered a new-to-me author, Robert Whitlow.  After reading only one of his books, I was hooked on his writing and storey telling skills.  He is a Christian man who writes Christian fiction, legal stories which are suspenseful, but involve main characters that are true to their walk with Christ.  Always at some point during the story, he gets across the message of salvation.  I first read the Tides of Truth series which included Deeper Water, Higher Hope, and Greater Love.  Next I read A Chosen People series of 2 books, and two single books, Water's Edge and The Trial.  I've added all of these to our library and plan to continue to add his other books as the budget allows  Robert Whitlow truly is an author that will inspire you to seek God, increase your faith, and to see the instances in your life in a different light  -- how, possibly, God might look at things.  Highly recommened.

  • I had begun adding more Robert Whitlow books to our library for the guy patrons, and I think we have only one James Scott Bell. Glad for the recommendation!  I recently "googled" Christian fiction for guys and got a list of really old books.

  • Well, I just ordered the last of his that are in print and preordered the one due out in February. We have a few guys in our library that will be thrilled to know I missed some of them. James Scott Bell is another one the guys like at our library. I have not read him myself, so not sure about recommending him.
  • Whitlow is a very popular author in our church library, too, especially for the men who read. Whitlow's books are so true-to-life the stories might have been taken from the headlines.
  • He's from Dalton, in North GA, not far from where I live, but now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. He's also a lawyer and I love his books.
  • Denise, that is wonderful about the gentleman who now reads Robert Whitlow books from your library. I just can't say enough about how great this author is.
    • I just wish he wrote faster. :-)
  • We have all of his titles in our library. He is very popular and we even have one man who never read anything from our library now hooked on this author.
