I am brand new to the church library world. Our building is currently under construction. As I try to order supplies online, I have looked for 'ratings' or 'top sellers,' but the websites don't have them. I am interested to know about bar code labels and scanners - which features are best, which are easiest, etc. Any suggestions?
You might want to check with whatever company provides your software. When I ordered our software, the company (ResourceMate) had scanners, printers, labels, etc. that they sold or endorsed and were all compatable with the software.
We bought our scanner from Book Systems since we use their Concourse software. For bar code labels we use the 30 labels to a page that you can buy from Office Depot and print our own since we have that module from Concourse also. Other places might have had a cheaper scanner but I wanted to be able to go to one location for any help I might need if the scanner didn't work. I hope this helps!
