In classifying a DVD that is based on facts, do you make it fiction or do you make it a biography?  One example is the DVD Billy, the early years of Billy Graham.

We classify our DVD's exactly as we do our books.  If it is a biography, we place it DB.  This makes it so much easier to find items for our customers.

Alma, since the first line of a call number is the type of media--we would use as our call number for the DVD you mentioned as:

We also classify all DVDs as we would books.

Eva, Thanks for your help. That is how I was doing them, but wasn't sure since it said it was based on a true story.

What about a movie on the life of Jesus? Such as the movie "Risen". Would you call that Fiction, or would it go under 232?
