Try this for fun:

http://classify.oclc.org/classify2/

Then enter the title and author in the middle column and click the middle search box. You'll get16 groups. I looked at the first two groups. 378.12092 was the most popular for DCC with B the runner up.

Also, if you haven't tried it, is Worldcat.org. This lists nearby libraries that have the requested item, along with a link so you can examine how neighbor libraries treated a book. (I use my $20 amazon bar code reader to enter the ISBN code instead of the title, etc. )

Thank you for your reply, Buford.  I also found that that DDN was the most used, but felt that the subject headings under Higher Education just weren't appropriate for the contents of this book.  It is about a professor who is dying, ALS, and is visited every Tuesday by one of his former students.  They talk about what it is like as his body is slowly taken over by that disease and deteriorates, about what is important in life, and how important it is to love others and do for them, to give of yourself.  And a whole bunch more.  I want it to be where our people can come across easily when browsing.
