I'm asking this question for a fellow church librarian.
Below is what she told me.
They will not be using sign out cards anymore. They use Tiny Cat to check books in and out. It makes the card pockets and sign out cards obsolete.
But it does the labels for the spines and the date due slips.
There is a privacy issue concerning the names on the sign out cards.
So, if there are no sign out cards, how do they keep track of who has what book?

Maybe they need to see if their software programme has the ability to add that feature or they need to swop to one that does. Our library using the software programme ‘LibCode’ which means all we have on our items is the spine code and a bar code on the front of each item.

I am new to Tiny Cat for our church library. I believe that patrons can be given a number or even a bar code for themselves to use for check in and out.
