I have small shelf label holders that I will put the name/author/series with the book on the shelf. That way they stand out as being newly
added 
or promoted.
Do you have a pic you can share?
On display easels scattered throughout the library and displayed in the windows.
Church bulletin. Also, each week the church sends an email listing upcoming activities so I can post a photo of a book along with a short blurb.
Facebook. Sometimes in the church bulletin but space is limited.

We have a large wooden rack in the hallway right outside the library, on which we display new books, both fiction and non-fiction, adult and teen. The rack was originally made for tracts by a church member, decades ago. When whoever makes these decisions switched to a wall-rack, this one was offered to the library, and with a bit of adjustment it was perfect for showing off books.
New children's books are displayed inside the library, in the children's area.
