"Is your intent to circulate and allow library customers to color a limited or unlimited number of  pages before returning?  Might be fun to try!  If so, I would probably classify and shelve with 700's.  Another option would…"

Need Suggestions for Preschool Story Hour

Looking for suggestions to plan and implement a weekday library event in our church library for preschoolers such as a story hour.   Would love to hear ideas that have worked well for others.  How often do you conduct your activity?  Should it be weekly for a  few weeks at a time or year round?  How long should each session last and do morning sessions work best for this age group?  Do you enlist guest story tellers or readers?  How do you determine your story topics or selections?  Do you pick…See More

Classifying collective biographies

I have a 5 volume set of collective biographies, "The Swans Are Not Silent" series by John Piper.  Each volume contains three bios.  They include theologians, missionaries and clergymen.  I would like to keep the set together.  Is 920 the best placement for this set?  Also considering 270.092.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!See More
