Book Recommendations on Aging

Can anyone recommend books on aging?  I had a female patron ask for some books on aging - as in how to handle all the changes that come with it and  she said some humor in the book would help.  See More

Bev Colquett's Ideas

Need Book Recommendations

I am trying to find good fiction books for a 9th grade boy.  He really enjoyed the Andrew Klavan Homelander series so maybe I need more books similar to this.

Also, does anyone know of blogs I could read which give recommendations on children/teen books to acquire for the church library.

Bev, it's good to have you as a member of Church Librarians Network.  I would like to invite you  to attend the library conference at Central Baptist Church on Saturday, Nov. 7th.   It's an all day free conference with lots of freebies.  You can find complete information, schedule, course descriptions and registration by going to our library catalog:  cbcd.booksys.net.   Then click on display and then links.  We would love to have you and any other team members.

I know that it's a long way to come, but there won't be any more library conferences at Shocco.
