If you missed our spring conference a few weeks ago you missed a great weekend.  We had our members as well as some new members join us and some from other denominations both from VA and NC.  Mark your calendars now for next year's spring conference April 21-23, 2017 at Eagle Eyrie, Lynchburg, VA.

We also have some other events coming up within the next month.  On May 21 at Calvary Hill Baptist Church, Fairfax, Spring Coffee & Chat.  On June 4 at Monument Heights Baptist Church, Richmond, Summer Coffee & Chat.  Both of these events are free and open to any church librarian.  They are round table discussions to bring your questions, ideas etc. and discuss them with the group.

Mark your calendar for our fall conference Oct. 14 & 15 at First Baptist Church, Martinsville, VA.  Conference details will be available in the coming months.

Checkout our website www.vacla.org and our Facebook page Virginia Church Library Association for current information.

Also, check out the events page on here.  We have added 2 new events for May and June as well as the fall conference in October.

VA Church Library Association had 65+ in attendance for our Spring Conference in Lynchburg.  We were thrilled to have North Carolina librarians join us for "Hand in Hand - Libraries Without Borders".  We welcomed librarians from Maryland, too!   Great workshop leaders and great fellowship.  Looking forward to our Fall Conference on Oct. 9-10 at North Run Baptist Church in Richmond.  Keep reading!
